I used a combination of reduction-print method, in which a single block is used to make a multi-colored image and used an additional block to print the negative space. Parts of the block are carved away, ink is applied and printed before carving further areas away and printing again in a new color, building up layers. This piece was carved and printed twice, combined with an additional separate carved block to create a three-color image. The lino block is destroyed as the carving progresses, making this a limited edition and unrepeatable. // A small signature and edition number (from a run of 13 prints) underneath each print. // Each print varies in terms of exact colors and registration as they are all hand-printed.
