We’ve all heard that lobsters mate for life, right? Here’s a pair of Pacific spiny lobsters who have found The One in each other’s prickly little arms. (pssst this species does not have the classic lobster claw that is so iconic of most lobsters… but it IS native to California!)

Hand-pulled three color reduction print

Reduction printing is a method in which a single block is used to make a multi-colored image. Parts of the block are carved away, ink is applied and printed before carving further areas away and printing again in a new color, building up layers. This piece was carved and printed three times to create a three-color image. The lino block is destroyed as the carving progresses, making this a limited edition and unrepeatable.
